Membership Terms & Conditions

  1. Non-Refundable
    All membership fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed.
  2. Event Frequency
    Networking events and member activities are scheduled approximately every 1–3 months. Dates and details will be announced in advance via our newsletter and official channels.
  3. Member Responsibility
    This is a proactive membership. Members are responsible for booking their own 1-2-1 mentoring sessions, Incubator co-working sessions, and other bookable opportunities via the website or group chat.
  4. Separate from Birmingham Fashion Week Participation
    Membership with The Birmingham Fashion Council is completely separate from participation in Birmingham Fashion Week as a model or designer.

    • Subscribing as a member does not automatically grant you a role in BFW.
    • All modelling and designer opportunities require a separate application process.
    • The only exception is the We Mean Fashion tier, which includes structured work experience opportunities linked to BFW.
  5. Conduct & Community Standards
    Members are expected to uphold respectful and professional conduct when attending events, engaging in group chats, and collaborating with peers. The Council reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership in cases of inappropriate behaviour.
  6. Changes to Membership Benefits
    The Birmingham Fashion Council reserves the right to update or amend membership benefits, event schedules, or resources when necessary. Members will be notified in advance of any significant changes.
  7. Intellectual Property & Content
    Any images, videos, or content captured at Birmingham Fashion Council events may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. By attending events, members consent to being featured in this content unless they have opted out in writing prior to the event.
