BFW Press & Industry Accreditation
Birmingham Fashion Week (BFW25) welcomes applications from fashion industry professionals attending in a work capacity, including press, buyers, influencers, stylists, photographers, and content creators. Accreditation offers access to events, industry insights, and opportunities to cover the latest in Birmingham’s fashion scene.
Please ensure you meet the relevant criteria before applying.
Press
• Applicants must represent a recognised fashion, lifestyle, or culture publication, either online or in print.
• Freelance journalists must provide proof of recently published work (within the past 12 months) is required.
Note: At this time, we are unable to provide accreditation for student publications.
Buyers
• Applicants must represent a fashion retailer with a physical store and/or a e-commerce presence ( independent stores are accepted)
• Evidence of stocked brands may be requested.
Content Creators & Influencers
To apply as a content creator, you must meet one of the following criteria:
• Instagram: Minimum of 25k followers with consistent fashion-related content.
• YouTube: Minimum of 20k subscribers with fashion videos averaging 10k views.
• TikTok: Minimum of 50k followers with recent fashion content and strong engagement.
• Blog/Website: At least 5,000 Monthly Unique Visitors, supported by verified analytics from the past three months.
Photographers
• While priority will be given to photographers commissioned to cover BFW25 for a publication, agency, or brand, independent photographers with a strong portfolio of fashion work are also welcome to apply.
• Proof of previous fashion photography work is required
• Front-of-House access will be available, with limited backstage access upon request.
Stylists
• Applicants must demonstrate recent professional work in fashion styling.
• Provide credits from editorial shoots, campaigns, or fashion shows.
